Getting to know your camera

Lesson 1
Hi guys, honestly speaking, this is my very first lesson as a beginner in this field, My interest in photography has started to increase since last year. Whenever I saw a photographer picture I thought I would never reach this level but when I heard their stories and how they started from 0 to being a pro. I started learning photography and I realized that studying is not the only way to make you a pro. But it is just about shooting.
And I hope that this lesson will help you ^_^
1)    All about exposure:
Exposure: A successful photo exposure is controlled by three factors: Aperture, Shutter speed , and ISO .
a)    Aperture: aperture is measured in f-stop, it effects how much the image is sharp. Large opening (small f-stop numbers) reduce how much is  sharp . Small opening (large f-stop numbers) increase  how much the image is sharp. with aperture (the f-stop) you typically have around eight exposure steps to play with . If you need more ( f-stop ) you need to spend a lot more money to get a faster lens.
b)    Shutter speed: The length of time that this shutter remains open is called the shutter speed.
-          The longer the shutter is open -----} (the slower the shutter speed set)

c)    ISO: ISO is simply how sensitive the sensor is to light. In most cameras this is represented by a number:
·         Standard lowest ISO = 100-200
·         Faster (more sensitive) ISO rating = 400/800/1600/3200
·         Super-fast = 1600+
Remember, use small ISO numbers whenever possible. Only use large number when you cant use flash and are hand-holding the camera and there’s not enough light for the other two setting.

Exposure modes:

Canon

Nikon
Auto mode leaves the camera 110% in control of the picture-making process so it is a wrong choice because cameras often make exposure mistakes. Auto there is little you can do to correct any goof.
Program (P) Like Auto, this is also fully automatic but it also allows you to override many pre-exciting setting like exposure and color.
Aperture priority (A or Av) this is possibly the best semi-automatic exposure modes. You manually choose the aperture and the camera then adjusts the shutter speed to make perfect exposure.
Shutter priority (S or Tv). The second semi-automatic mod e where you dial the shutter speed and the camera calculate the correct aperture to match it for a perfect exposure.
Manual (M) In this mode you choose both shutter speed and aperture setting to make a perfect exposure.
